Meet Osprey of Falmouth and her Crew

"Life is a Journey not a Destination"

Discover the Oyster 56

About Us

Welcome Aboard!

Hi, I’m Sally! Along with my partner Tony, we set sail on Osprey, our Oyster 56, in April 2024, exploring adventure across the world’s oceans. Like many, we juggle home, family, pets, and work, so we sail 8- 10  months of the year—making time for trips back to Australia to reconnect with loved ones.

A bit about us—I’m the Skipper, with over 40 years of sailing experience and 50,000+ nautical miles behind me. I crossed the Atlantic at 21, sailed the Pacific and South China Sea, and have spent my life yacht racing, teaching, and running a yacht charter business. Tony, our First Mate, is a civil engineer with adventures including the Bay of Biscay and the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. He calls himself more of an adventurer than a sailor, but he keeps Osprey shipshape while balancing remote work.

Our journey began along the stunning west coast of the UK and Scotland before heading to Spain. Next? The Mediterranean in 2025/26, then the Caribbean in 2027—though sailor’s plans are always written in sand, and we’re happy to let the wind decide!

Sailing isn’t just about destinations—it’s about the stories, the people, and the unforgettable moments along the way. Hop aboard Osprey, and let’s explore this incredible world together!
