Back in Lymington for a couple of nights to collect our long awaited freight of household stuff, sent from Australia more than 3 months ago. Getting it sent to the Uk was a challenge in itself, getting it all onboard was another dimension.
Whilst waiting for the shipment to arrive we thought we would try and get the RC aircon to work as we hadn’t previously used it. To save from a very long story a rooky error involving a closed seacock ended up flooding an outside locker. The truck arrived with the pallet on the jetty at the same time, Just to add a further dimension it was raining off course.
Thankfully we were saved by our good friends Steve, Annette and Gus from SV Cordelia who arrived mid chaos and helped unpack 16 boxes, fishing gear, bbq, plus other toys.
We retired to the pub for a lovely dinner with lots of laughs. The sailing community is always so generous.
There will be a video eventually once the pace slows a little.
